If you are new to using EFT, you’ll find having a guide to the EFT tapping points will help you to know where to tap.
You can download this one here.
I shared this guide recently with a friend who was struggling with anxiety. She didn’t have time for me to teach her how to use the set-up and reminder phrases. But I knew that just tapping on these points would give her some relief.
Here’s an email she sent to me a week later:
Elana,
I am loving the results of the simple techniques you sent me – I shared the diagram with [my 3rd grade son] and he is also an adopter.
He told me yesterday when I picked him up from school that he had a very frustrating moment with another student that – the student was very distracting to the class and [my son] found himself getting upset and anxious – he told me he did the ‘karate chop’ and could feel him self settling down – he said it was very helpful.
I have used the technique when I wake in the middle of the night – I have found it to get me back to sleep sooner – and more importantly, I have been sleeping through the night since I have done it before bed.
I would very much like to bring [my son] to you (along with me) for a session/learning/explanation – [he] gets out of school on the 21st and our schedule is pretty flexible.
I had hoped that I could see you this week sometime but end of year schedules are getting the best of me!
Please let me know what you think might work best – thank you so much for approaching me and mentioning it!
I really couldn’t have said this any better myself!
